Description
Upper-End 1925-D Dime, MS65 Full Bands
1925-D 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. The 1925-D is a well known strike rarity. Rated fourth in the 77-coin series, near-Gem and Gem examples are rated a solid R.5 by Lange. Gems, of course, are much scarcer than this. This is an especially lustrous, high-end example. The surfaces are highly lustrous and there is just the slightest tinge of color on each side. Each side is clean enough to suggest an even higher grade, the only mark of any note being located in the lower right obverse field just behind Liberty's lowest hair curls. From the Jay Eisenberg Collection.
