Description
1927-S Dime, MS65 Full Bands--A Scarce and Overlooked Issue
1927-S 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. The 1927-S has traditionally been an overlooked and underappreciated issue in the Mercury Dime series. It is, in fact, scarcer than the 1926-S, but does not receive the press that issue does. This piece has bright, shimmering luster that is made even more intense by the numerous die striations seen in the fields. Generally brilliant, there is just the slightest touch of golden color on each side. From the Jay Eisenberg Collection.
