Description

Mint State 1846-O Dollar

1846-O $1 MS 60 ANACS. An attractive example of this conditionally elusive Seated dollar. Well defined in most areas (except on stars 8-13), each side is overlaid by a light accent of pastel coloration. The MS 60 rating is explained by the presence of two tiny rim cuts on the obverse (near the 1 and 5 o'clock positions), and a long abrasion on the upper reverse below UNITE(D STA)TES.
