Description

Lustrous Select 1902-O Half Dollar

1902-O 50C MS63 NGC. This Select example offers silver-gold lustrous surfaces throughout. The 1902-O is notorious for one of the worst strikes in the entire series. This piece is unfortunately no exception, with weakness on the headband and wreath on the obverse, and much of the central reverse. The obverse stars are well detailed, however. Census: 20 in 63, 29 finer (1/08).
