Description
Lustrous, Nicely Toned Gem Alabama Half
1921 50C Alabama MS65 PCGS. While the more frequently encountered of the two Alabama issues, the Alabama Plain is still a very challenging commemorative in high grades, especially in Gem condition. This is a smooth, lustrous example that shows only the slightest luster grazes that keep it from an even loftier grade level. Light golden-brown toning covers each side with deeper russet accents scattered around the margins.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYF2, PCGS# 9224, Greysheet# 10220)
