The Finest Seen at PCGS
1844 $10 AU55 PCGS. The low mintage 1844 ten (6,361 pieces)
is rare in all grades. Extremely Fine and the lower levels of About
Uncirculated are the finest seen. Choice AU examples such as the
present offering are extremely rare and Mint State specimens are
virtually unobtainable. Orange-gold and lime-green surfaces retain
luster in the recessed areas, and the design elements are
well-impressed. Housed in a prior generation green-label holder.
