Description
1936-D 10C MS 67 Full Bands PCGS. Given this issue's respectable mintage of 16,132,000 pieces, it is little wonder that Mint State survivors are plentiful in all grades up to and including the MS 66 Full Bands level. Demanding collectors, however, would be wise to take advantage of the fleeting opportunity that the present Superb Gem represents. The otherwise golden patina deepens ever so slightly to champagne-russet shades in isolated areas on both sides. There are no areas of distracting striking weakness and the surfaces are typically smooth for the grade. Population: 14 in 67, 0 finer (5/00).
From the Louis Bassano Collection.
