Description

1936-D 5C MS67 PCGS. This apricot tinged survivor is well produced in all regards. Both sides are fully lustrous with sharp definition throughout. As befits the grade, the surfaces are silent on the subject of bothersome abrasions. Fortunately, mentionable carbon and distracting planchet flaws are also conspicuous by their absence. The 1936-D is superior in striking quality to the 1934-D and 1935-D, and the present Superb Gem does not disappoint in this regard. Population: 52 in 67, 2 finer (10/05).

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22ST, PCGS# 3978, Greysheet# 3141)
