Description

1874-CC--Obverse Rim Filed--ANACS. Net graded XF 40 with AU details. In spite of its impressively low mintage of only 16,767 pieces, the '74-CC is the most easily found CC ten produced prior to 1880. Softly struck, as always, the reddish-gold surfaces impart an original appearance. The rim has been filed at the lower portion of the obverse, and a number of field abrasions are noted that detract slightly from the overall appearance of the coin.
