Description

Rare Borderline Unc. 1884-CC Eagle

1884-CC AU 58 NGC. A rare date in the Carson City series of tens, the '84-CC has a mintage of only 9,925 pieces and is a condition rarity as well as an absolute one. This is one of the two or three finest examples of this rare issue we have offered and is most likely a Condition Census coin. The surfaces retain dazzling, prooflike luster that is interrupted by only the lightest scuffiness and the devices are sharply struck throughout with no obvious or detracting abrasions.
