Description
Rare Borderline Unc. 1884-CC Eagle
1884-CC AU 58 NGC. A rare date in the Carson City series of tens, the '84-CC has a mintage of only 9,925 pieces and is a condition rarity as well as an absolute one. This is one of the two or three finest examples of this rare issue we have offered and is most likely a Condition Census coin. The surfaces retain dazzling, prooflike luster that is interrupted by only the lightest scuffiness and the devices are sharply struck throughout with no obvious or detracting abrasions.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 266B, PCGS# 8704, Greysheet# 9503)
Weight: 16.72 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
