Flashy Borderline Gem 1897-S Double Eagle
1897-S $20 MS64 NGC. Sharply struck with bright mint luster that takes on a semi-reflective sheen in the fields. A late date condition rarity that is extremely rare in solid Gem condition. This piece has only a few wispy abrasions that keep it from the next higher grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CJ, PCGS# 9032, Greysheet# 9958)
