Conditionally Challenging 1798 Cent, S-167
1798 1C Second Hair Style XF45 PCGS. S-167, B-33, R.1. A splendidly detailed piece with blended light brown and gunmetal-gray toning. The obverse is surprisingly unabraded, although small granular areas are distributed, the darkest at 7:30. The reverse is essentially void of verdigris, but tiny marks emerge once the piece is viewed beneath a strong loupe. Encapsulated in a green label holder.
