1984 Cent, MS69 Red
Among Finest Certified
1984 1C MS69 Red PCGS. As one would expect, the 1984
Philadelphia cent is prevalent in quality Mint State, but at the
MS69 Red level it becomes a major blessing to competitive Registry
collectors. Only five pieces are graded MS69 Red at PCGS (9/23).
The lustrous butter-gold surfaces are immaculate, with no carbon or
contact apparent. As always for the 1984, the fields have a subtle
matte appearance from trapped gas beneath the copper
