Description

Appealing 1873-CC Trade Dollar, MS61

1873-CC T$1 MS61 NGC. Almost all 1873-CC Trade dollars saw circulation, and Mint State examples are very scarce. This is the most challenging regular issue in the series except for the 1878-CC. Splashes of yellow, orange, and medium-gray cover both sides. Liberty's head is a bit soft, as often seen, and there are a number of grade-defining abrasions. Delightful cartwheel luster adds to the aesthetic appeal. Census: 7 in 61, 19 finer (7/09).
