Description
1801 50C VG8 ANACS. O-101, R.3. A deeply toned example of this elusive date. Die lumps (as made) in the lower left reverse field attribute the variety. The borders have a few minor rim dings, and a curved pinscratch crosses the arrowheads. Some detail within the hair tresses and the wing plumage is still visible. From the Dr. Richard Tavernetti Collection.
