(1968-70) S-Mint 40% Silver Kennedy Half
Die Adjustment Strike, PR63

Undated 40% Silver 19??-S Kennedy Half--Die Adjustment Strike--PR63 ANACS. From dies between 1968 and 1970, the only years that proofs of this type were struck from this alloy at San Francisco. Light to medium gold toning. A truly mushy strike with only central detail well brought up. The mintmark is legible, but the area of the date just shows the granular surface of the planchet.
