Lovely PR63 Red and Brown 1857 Half Cent
1857 1/2 C PR63 Red and Brown PCGS. B-2, R.4. The cent and ribbon are doubled, characteristic of Breen-2. Luminous gold luster outlines all design elements. Liberty's cheek and the left obverse field exhibit rose toning. The strike is razor-sharp. A thin, short mark is present beneath Liberty's jaw, but the surfaces are otherwise splendidly smooth.
