Description
Sharply Struck Key Date 1923-S Quarter, MS65
1923-S 25C MS65 PCGS. This radiantly lustrous '23-S displays occasional whispers of violet-gold patina at the margins, most noticeable along the upper reverse. A well executed strike emboldens the design elements, including the stripes of the inner shield and Liberty's chain mail. Even Liberty's head, though not full, exhibits sharp definition. An inoffensive mark or two on each side is all that stands in the way of a higher grade. Housed in a green-label holder.
