1854-D G$1 --Improperly Cleaned--NGC. AU Details. Variety 6-H, the only known dies. Only 2,935 pieces were struck for this difficult Dahlonega issue. An olive-gold example with a hint of wear on the hair near the ear. The obverse field is faintly hairlined, and the reverse rim has been tooled near 6 o'clock.
