Challenging 1852-O Select Gold Dollar
1852-O G$1 MS63 NGC. The 1852-O ranks among the more challenging gold dollar issues produced by New Orleans, and anything finer than this attractive Select piece is a rarity. The rich sun-gold and orange-gold surfaces offer surprisingly strong luster and little granularity. Well-defined at the centers with only scattered, wispy flaws.
