Description

Exceptional 1925-D Gem Red One Cent

1925-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Both sides of this Gem are awash in attractive copper-gold luster. The design features boast better definition than usually seen, especially on the obverse. The right wheat stalk is weak, but the remaining reverse elements display relatively nice detail. These factors are significant as the '25-D is considered one of the most poorly made issues in the entire Lincoln series (David Bowers, 2008). Additionally, notable contact marks or flecks are absent. Population: 40 in 65 Red, 2 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22CG, PCGS# 2563, Greysheet# 1891)
