Superior 1885 Gold Dollar, MS67
1885 G$1 MS67 NGC. Garrett and Guth (2006) write that "although the mintage for the 1885 increases dramatically from previous years, the number of coins available to collectors is somewhat smaller ... . There are surprisingly few superb MS-67 or better coins graded." Wonderful semiprooflike fields show moderate cameo contrast against the frosted devices.
