Description

1973 25C Washington Quarter--Flipover, Double-Struck in Collar--MS64 PCGS. This remarkable error was struck, flipped over inside of the coining chamber, and then struck a second time. The original striking is most apparent around the perimeter, but the outline of Washington's head is visible on the reverse. A couple of small grease spots in the lower right of the obverse are the only areas of color on this silver-gray representative. The obverse is somewhat dull, but the reverse is brilliant and highly lustrous.
