Exceptional 1974-D Ike Dollar, MS67
1974-D $1 MS67 PCGS. Ex: Larry Shapiro. The massive mintage of business-strike Eisenhower dollars amounted to more than 45.5 million pieces, but most of them were quite carelessly handled, somewhat like the Morgan dollars of yore. Such large coins are intrinsically prone to moderate to heavy abrasions and bagmarks, which makes this phenomenally pristine clad coin quite remarkable. The luster and eye appeal are equally exceptional, with light silver-gold patina.
