Superb Gem Full Bands 1924 Dime
1924 10C MS67 Full Bands PCGS. Mostly brilliant, with a translucent obverse crescent of yellow-orange and a smidgen of lilac on the reverse in an irregular pattern. The obverse shows vigorous die polishing in both the left and right obverse fields, especially in the right, apparently an attempt to remove an earlier scratch from the die, according to Lange's reference book. Fully struck up on the fasces and bands. Perusal under magnification reveals a couple of light scrapes near PLURIBUS. A pleasing example, and one of a mere handful to attain this lofty status.
