Choice VF Large Planchet Pine Tree Shilling, Noe-10
1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Large Planchet VF35 PCGS. Noe-10, Crosby 1a-C, R.3. 66.5 grains. This glossy representative has a sharp tree, and about two-thirds of the legends are also clear. Peripheral weakness affects the left obverse and right reverse. The characteristic S-bend is apparent on each side, and the piece displays iridescent ice-blue and lilac patina. Listed on page 37 of the 2007 Guide Book.From The Jones Beach Collection.
