Description
Boiotia, Thebes. Ca. 395-338 B.C. AR stater (21 mm, 12.18 g). Ca. 363-338 B.C. Werg..., magistrate. Boiotian shield / Amphora. Hepworth group D3, 40 = BCD 575 (same dies); Head p. 65; SNG Copenhagen 331. Good VF, toned, obverse planchet flaws.A very rare issue according to Hepworth, with fewer than twenty specimens known.
