Pedro I copper Pattern 80 Reis 1827-R MS61 Brown NGC, Rio de
Janeiro mint, KM-Pn28, Bentes-E18.01. An extremely rare and highly
appealing 80 Reis Pattern issue struck in copper, offering deeply
toned mahogany color over definitively struck matte-like surfaces
and an unusual and eye-catching set of large-sized numerals
denoting the value. An undercurrent of plum, amethyst, and emerald
breathes life into the cordovan-covered surfaces, most pleasing
