Republic 8 Reales 1844 GC-MP AU55 NGC, Guadalupe y Calvo mint, KM377.7, DP-GC01. The first year of issue from this elusive mint, examples in this grade are scarce. The first straight-graded example we've offered since 2018.A significant historical piece as it commenced the short lived (8 year) but impressive run of Guadalupe y Calvo which revolutionized production being the first mint in the Republic of Mexico to integrate steam powered presses.
