1843 N-5 Cent, MS66 Brown
Mature Head, Large Letters
1843 1C Mature Head, Large Letters MS66 Brown NGC. N-5, R.1. Our
EAC Grade MS60+. Grellman Die State b. This boldly struck and
lustrous high grade cent displays lovely olive-green toning with
hints of faded fire-red within design recesses. Outstanding overall
despite trivial contact near the jaw and a pair of minute spots
near the M in AMERICA and the first T in STATES. In the present
quality, the 1843 Mature Head is much scarcer than its Petite Head
counterpart.Ex: Heritage (1/2006), lot 634.
