1872-CC $1--Shield Tooled--ANACS. VG8 Details. LIBERTY is sharp on this rare Carson City dollar, but it has had some help, since the obverse shield is completely (and skillfully) re-engraved. No other design elements have been tampered with. IN GOD WE TRUST is nearly fully present. A mere 3,150 pieces were struck.
