Head of Roma right, wearing pendant earring, beaded necklace, and winged helmet surmounted by griffin crest; cornucopia behind, X (mark of value) below chin, all within dotted border / L•CVP (VP ligate), Dioscuri on horseback galloping right, each with couched spear and wearing pileus surmounted by star; ROMA in frame below. Crawford 218/1. Sydenham 404. Rich iridescent backlight.
