Description
Thanh Thai 5 Tien Size gold Order ND (1888-1907), Obv. THANH THAI THONG BAO around radiant sun, Rev. LONV VAN and central radiant sun with flying dragon below. XF Details, holed at 6 & 12 o'clock with wearing string attached at 12. a tri-colored tassel was attached at 12 o'clock. It is no longer attached, but is included. although we hesitate to call this piece a coin, the obverse is identical to the picture in Krause (KM) of the Thanh Thai gold 3 Tien listed as KM638 (Schroeder 433). Regardless of whether it is Order, or coin, it is extremely rare, and desirable.Auction Info
