Taj Mahal Treasure refers to pieces salvaged from the Great Basses wreck, a ship containing the only known silver rupees from the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb that wrecked off the coast of Sri Lanka in 1702. The wreck was discovered by two divers, one of whom was Sir Arthur C. Clarke, the celebrated science-fiction author who penned "2001: A Space Odyssey."
