On a Large Nickel Planchet MS63
1979 Canada Cent--Die Cap on 8.8 gm. Nickel Planchet--MS63
PCGS. A typical 1979 Canada cent (KM-59.2) is bronze and weighs
3.24 gm. The closest match to the weight and composition is the
Canada half dollar, which is nickel and weighs 8.10 grams. A
deep-dished die cap reverse with a featureless obverse. Unabraded
and lustrous with light gold toning. Too tall to fit within a PCGS
holder, but a PCGS insert comes with the lot.
