Glorious Superb Gem 1923 Cent
1923 1C MS67 Red PCGS. The matte-like, frosty surfaces radiate crimson-orange and lime-green coloration. There are no bothersome abrasions or carbon spots on either side, and a small contact mark on Lincoln's forehead seems unimportant. The piece is fully struck, with minor die clashing (as produced) evident near the center of obverse and reverse alike. A beautifully toned, remarkably preserved Superb Gem example. Population: 12 in 67 Red, 1 finer (5/08).Ex: William Bickel Collection, Part One (Heritage, 7/2005), lot 5282, which realized $10,925.(Registry values: N1793)
