Alfonso VI Counterstamped 250 Reis ND (1663) XF40 NGC, KM33.1, LMB-78, Gomes-43.12. Type IV crowned "250" countermark (XF Standard), struck on an undated Portuguese 200 Reis from the Evora mint. Scant flashes of brilliance populate the low-lying fields of this popular countermarked issue.From the Vila Rica Collection
