Qing Dynasty. Bagongbao Like ("Eight-Votive-Treasures") Buddhist Presentation Sycee of 1 Tael ND Certified MS62 by Gong Bo Grading, Cribb-XCI.A.1286. 24.6x9.7mm. 37.1gm. Displaying Golden Wheel (Dharmachakra) shape. An inspiring example and just the second this cataloger has seen at market in as many decades, featuring the wheel of dharma, a famed, auspicious symbol of Buddhism. While struck just slightly off-center, the piece maintains crisp devices and an attractive honey tone to the protected recesses. Of paramount importance to the Sycee collector seeking examples of all eight votive treasures.
