Description

German Colony. Wilhelm II 1/2 Mark 1894-A MS67 NGC, Berlin mint, KM4, J-704. The smallest silver emission from the famed Bird of Paradise series, of enviable quality as presented here. Not uncommon to find in Gem condition, as it is safe to assume these were frequently saved upon issue due to the unusually beautiful design, but Superb Gem is another matter entirely. Not since the D. Moore specimen in 2017 has an MS67 of this one-year issue crossed our auction blocks.
