Description
(1670-75) St. Patrick Farthing VF35 PCGS. Breen-218, W-11500. Breen's "martlet below king" variety. The martlet is a legless heraldic bird that represents the pursuit of learning. A richly detailed medium brown example with evenly granular surfaces. The brass splasher is off-center southwest relative to the crown.
