REGI' lombardic lettering, unbarred As, crowned bust left, wearing simply-jeweled plain bodice and pearl necklace, rev. VERITA-S (m.m.) TEM-PORIS FILIA, lombardic lettering and unbarred As, square-topped Tudor shield over long cross fourchée, terminals with 'fishtail' ends. The clarity in Mary's facial and hair features provide a respectable level of visual appeal on this more affordable example of a classic Groat type.
