1786 VERMONTENSIUM Landscape Copper
AU50, RR-6, Bressett 4-D
1786 COPPER Vermont Copper, VERMONTENSIUM, AU50 PCGS. RR-6,
Bressett 4-D, W-2020, R.2 A pleasing chocolate-brown Republic
copper that has no remotely relevant marks. A couple of small areas
of slight granularity are present on the reverse border, but the
quality is outstanding compared with usual dark and porous piece.
Sharply struck, even on the plow which is often softly defined on
this short-lived landscape type. The obverse is slightly off center
toward 5:30, which affects the bottom half of the date. The reverse
is slightly off center toward 1 o'clock. Much nicer than usually
encountered, and a great collector coin. Listed on page 84 of the
