1773 1/2P Virginia Halfpenny, Period MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. N. 25-M, W-1580, R.2. Bright orange-red fills the lettering and other recesses, particularly on the reverse. The portrait, obverse field, and central reverse are deep brown. An unmarked and attractive Gem of this popular colonial type.
