1972 Double Die Obverse Cent, MS67 Red
Glowing Deep Red Surfaces
1972 1C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS67 Red PCGS. Fiery
copper-orange and rose-red hues blend over the glowing, satin
surfaces of this Superb Gem Registry coin. The design elements are
boldly rendered and there are no significant abrasions. A single,
tiny carbon speck is hidden near the obverse rim at the back base
of Lincoln's shoulder. The 1972 double die cent is one of the most
sought-after varieties in the Lincoln cent series. Population: 33
in 67 Red, 1 finer (5/15).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 38013, Base PCGS# 2950, Greysheet# 315301)
