João V gold 10000 Reis 1724-M AU Details (Repaired) NGC, Minas Gerais mint, KM116, LMB-244. The first date of issuance for the type, produced for only four years from 1724 to 1727. The first of these, represented by the present offering, is the scarcest. Lightly tooled in the fields, and attractively and naturally re-toned since, lending clear visual appeal to this utmost challenging issue.
