1804 C-5, B-4 Half Cent, AU50
Spiked Chin
1804 1/2 C Spiked Chin, C-5, B-4, R.4, AU50 PCGS. Manley Die
State 4.0, an intermediate die state with a diagonal bisecting
crack on the reverse, from the A in STATES to the C in AMERICA.
Pleasing olive and tan surfaces exhibit minor verdigris on each
side. A pleasing example of this scarce die variety that is
infrequently encountered in higher grades. Our EAC grade XF40.From The Mark Hays Collection of Half Cents.
