Description

1916-D Mercury Dime, MS61 Full Bands
Collectible Mint State Example

1916-D 10C MS61 Full Bands PCGS. A pleasing lower-end Uncirculated example of this first-year key date, from a mintage of only 264,000 pieces. This Denver issue is widely sought after, especially in the Full Bands category, although most Uncirculated examples seen tend to be out of reach for the average collector. This coin, although light abraded, presents good eye appeal for the grade and is an appealing alternative to the highly priced finer examples on the market. Brilliant, satiny mint luster engulfs each side, while the strike is bold throughout. The rims are well-squared with a broad appearance.
