1855 1C Upright 5s MS66 Brown NGC. N-4, R.1. Grellman Die State a. Four small die lumps on the portrait attribute this specialist-familiar Newcomb variety. A magnificent Mature Head type coin that has a rose-gold obverse and a sea-green reverse. Well struck save for the centers of stars 4 and 5. Housed in a prior generation holder.
