Description

1795 1C Talbot Allum & Lee Cent MS65 Brown PCGS. Fuld-1, W-8620, R.1. Issued by the New York firm of Talbot, Allum & Lee, these coppers were struck in Birmingham, England and some of the planchets were later cut down and used by the Philadelphia Mint to strike large cents. The 1795 issue had the denomination on the edge. This well-detailed Gem offers pleasing surfaces, with a mix of original red and light brown patina and no mentionable signs of contact. Listed on page 76 of the 2016 Guide Book. Population: 10 in 65 Brown, 1 finer (7/15).
