1847 1C N-1, R.2, MS66 Brown NGC. Grellman Die State c. A distinctive die marriage with blatant repunching at the bases of all four date digits. The reverse border exhibits numerous die cracks. A lustrous and lovely chocolate-brown cent. The strike is generally sharp, and marks are absent except for a concealed line on Liberty's forehead curls. Our EAC grade MS60.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 226D, Variety PCGS# 37268, Base PCGS# 1877, Greysheet# 258778)
